My Music
The Stanfields
The Stanfields' music can be best described as a mixture of bluegrass and rock and roll.  The sound and rhythm of the heavy guitars bear a strong celtic influence and speak of The Stanfields' Canadian roots.  Originally from Halifax, they have been making a name for themselves mostly in Nova Scotia but their music is quickly being noticed and creating a buzz all over Canada.  Vanguard of the Young and Reckless is the name of their new album and its first single "The Dirtiest Drunk (in the History of Liquor)" is a good example of the Stanfields' music style and sense of humour!  They are in fact a bit of a party bunch and they put on an amazing show where everybody can't help but to start dancing, sing along and have a good time!  The Stanfields are currently on tour and will be notably performing in the outdoor Celebration Square Concert Series of the Canada Winter Games next February 2011.    Visit their website here for more info.
